Safety & Flight Line Protocol
Safety is CASA's top priority. All pilots and guests must strictly adhere to the flying site rules linked above.
AMA Membership: Valid Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) membership is required for all active pilots on the flight line. AMA flying site rules are required to be followed.
FAA: Pilots must comply with all FAA rules and regulations.
Flight Station Position: Pilots must in close proximity when flying to ensure clear communication while aloft.
No Fly Zones: Flying over spectator areas, pit zones, parking areas, buildings or neighboring off-limits boundaries is strictly prohibited.
Frequency & Fail-Safe: Preflight aircraft for proper control function prior to launch.
Spotters & Safety Officer: Utilize a spotter during busy flight windows or high-speed flight; follow directives from the CASA Safety Officer.
